User Roles and Permissions — Alysio

Alysio uses a structured role-based access model to control what users can view and do within the platform. User roles define permissions for accessing revenue data, configuring platform features, and initiating operational workflows. Roles are assigned and managed by Workspace Administrators and can be updated at any time. Each role is designed to align with common responsibilities across modern revenue organizations, including RevOps leaders, managers, account executives, and executive stakeholders. By combining user roles with integration-level permissions and data visibility rules inherited from connected systems, Alysio ensures that users only access the information and capabilities appropriate to their responsibilities.

Available User Roles

Alysio includes several default user roles designed to support typical revenue team structures.

Workspace Administrator

The Workspace Administrator role provides full access to all platform features, settings, integrations, and data. Administrators are responsible for managing the Alysio workspace, configuring integrations, setting up AI Revenue Agents, and overseeing platform governance. This role is typically assigned to: RevOps leaders
System administrators
Platform owners
Revenue operations teams
Workspace Administrators can perform the following actions: Invite and remove users
Assign and modify user roles
Connect and manage platform integrations
Configure AI Revenue Agents and signal detection settings
Access all pipeline, account, and engagement data across the workspace
Review platform audit logs and activity history
Because this role includes full administrative control, it should be assigned only to users responsible for managing the platform.

Manager

The Manager role provides access to team-level revenue intelligence and operational insights. Managers can view pipeline activity, account intelligence, and revenue signals associated with their team’s accounts and opportunities. This role is designed for sales managers, team leaders, and revenue leaders who need visibility into team performance. Managers can perform the following actions: View pipeline and forecast data for their team
Access account and deal intelligence for team-managed accounts
Review signals and alerts related to their team’s opportunities
Configure team-level notifications and alerts
Review AI Revenue Agent activity related to their team’s accounts
Managers do not have access to workspace-level configuration settings or integration management.

Individual Contributor

The Individual Contributor role is designed for users responsible for managing specific accounts or opportunities. Typical users include: Account executives
Sales representatives
Customer success managers
Revenue team members with assigned accounts
Individual Contributors can perform the following actions: View pipeline and account data for their assigned opportunities
Access deal intelligence and revenue signals for their accounts
Receive alerts and notifications related to their pipeline activity
Initiate authorized actions through the Execution Engine
Individual Contributors only see the accounts and opportunities assigned to them and do not have access to broader team-level or workspace-level data.

Read-Only

The Read-Only role provides view-only access to platform data. Users assigned this role can view revenue intelligence insights and pipeline summaries but cannot modify settings or initiate operational actions. This role is commonly used for: Executive leadership
Finance teams
Strategy teams
Stakeholders who require visibility into revenue performance
Read-Only users can: View dashboards and pipeline summaries
Review account intelligence and deal insights
Observe signals and platform activity
They cannot configure agents, modify integrations, change settings, or trigger Execution Engine actions.

Assigning Roles

User roles are assigned and managed by Workspace Administrators. To assign a role: Navigate to the Users section within workspace settings.
Invite a new user by entering their email address.
Select the appropriate role during the invitation process.
Roles can be updated at any time by editing a user’s role assignment within the Users settings panel. Changes to roles take effect immediately once saved.

Custom Role Configuration

Organizations with specific governance or security requirements may request custom role configurations. Custom roles allow organizations to tailor access permissions to match internal policies, department structures, or compliance requirements. For example, custom roles may restrict access to certain data sources or limit access to specific operational capabilities. To discuss custom role configuration options, contact your Alysio account team or email: support@alysio.ai

Role and Permission Best Practices

Organizations should follow several best practices when assigning roles within Alysio. Workspace Administrator access should be limited to users responsible for platform configuration and governance. Manager roles should be assigned to users responsible for overseeing team-level performance and operational insights. Individual Contributor roles should be assigned to users managing specific accounts or opportunities. Read-Only access is appropriate for stakeholders who require visibility into revenue intelligence but do not need operational control. Regularly reviewing user role assignments helps ensure that platform access remains aligned with current organizational responsibilities and data governance policies.
